Purple Design System

Mission & Overview

Purple began as a Kickstarter brand known for its goofy, memorable videos and Big Foot mascot. While that personality helped it get off the ground, it made it harder to compete visually with more established, premium mattress brands. We took on a full visual redesign, exploring how Purple could retain its light-hearted attitude while evolving into a more refined, premium brand.



The Rebranded Design System was a year-long effort led by Ashley Seguin and Gaige Redd, whose vision and commitment to quality were central to the project’s success. I collaborated with them by designing the components and variants for the Path-to-product flows through exploration, iteration, and implementation.
